Reading this privacy notice will help you understand your privacy rights and choices. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Services. If you still have any questions or concerns, please contact us at support@azyrum.com.
Summary of Key Points
- What personal information do we process? We process the information you give us to create your account, take payment, fulfil and deliver your orders, respond to your enquiries, and — if you sign up — send our newsletter.
- Do we process any sensitive personal information? No. We do not process sensitive personal information.
- Do we run analytics, advertising, or profiling? No. We do not currently operate any analytics, advertising pixels, or profiling of any kind, and we do not sell your personal data.
- Do we receive any information from third parties? We do not buy or receive personal information about you from data brokers or other third parties.
- What are your rights? Depending on where you are located, applicable privacy law may give you certain rights over your personal information. You can exercise them at any time by contacting us.
1. What Information Do We Collect?
Personal information you disclose to us. We collect the personal information that you voluntarily provide when you create an account, place an order, sign up to our newsletter, or contact us. Depending on what you do, this may include your name, email address, shipping and billing addresses, order details, and the contents of any message you send us. We do not process sensitive information. Payment card details are entered directly into Shopify's secure checkout and handled by Shopify Payments; we do not collect or store your full card number. You may read Shopify's privacy notice at shopify.com/legal/privacy .
Information needed to run the store. To keep your cart, your sign-in session, and your chosen country working across pages, we set a small number of strictly necessary cookies and store a couple of values on your device. These are described in section 5. We do not use them to build a profile of you or to track you across other websites.
2. How Do We Process Your Information?
We process your personal information to: create and authenticate your account; take payment and fulfil, deliver, and manage your orders, returns, and exchanges; respond to your enquiries and provide support; and, where you have signed up, send you our newsletter (which you can unsubscribe from at any time). We also process information as necessary to keep the store secure, prevent fraud, and comply with our legal obligations, such as tax and accounting requirements.
3. What Legal Bases Do We Rely On?
If you are located in the EU or UK, we rely on the following legal bases to process your personal information: performance of a contract with you (to take and fulfil your orders and run your account); your consent (for our newsletter, and for any future analytics or advertising tools — see section 6 — which you may withdraw at any time); our legitimate interests (keeping the store secure and preventing fraud); and compliance with our legal obligations.
4. When and With Whom Do We Share Your Personal Information?
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share your information only with the service providers that make the store work:
- Shopify Inc. hosts our store and processes our checkout, orders, customer accounts, and payments on our behalf.
- Klaviyo processes the email address of shoppers who choose to sign up to our newsletter, so that we can send it. If you do not sign up, we do not share anything with Klaviyo.
We may also disclose information where required to do so by law, or in connection with a merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or part of our business.
5. Do We Use Cookies and Other Storage?
We use only strictly necessary cookies. These make the store work — they keep you signed in and keep your cart — and are not used for analytics, advertising, or tracking. The cookies we set are:
- azyrum_customer_token — keeps you signed in to your account. It lasts for the lifetime of your Shopify sign-in session and expires when that session does.
- azyrum_cart_id — remembers your shopping cart. Lasts 30 days.
- azyrum_cart_country — records the country your cart is priced in. Lasts 30 days.
- azyrum_cart_customer — links your cart to your signed-in account. Lasts 30 days.
We also store two values in your browser's local storage: azyrum:country (the country you have chosen, so we can show you the right prices) and azyrum:wishlist (a wishlist kept for you until you sign in). These stay on your device and are not sent to us or to anyone else as tracking data.
Because these cookies and stored values are strictly necessary to provide the store, they do not require consent. Blocking them in your browser may stop the cart, sign-in, or country pricing from working.
6. Analytics and Advertising
We do not currently use any analytics tools, advertising pixels, or profiling of any kind. We may introduce an advertising or analytics tool in the future. If we do, it will only run after you have accepted it through the cookie settings available from the banner, and we will update this notice to name the tool and explain what it does before it is switched on. Until then, no such tool is active on this site.
7. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?
We will only keep your personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this notice, unless a longer retention period is required by law (such as tax or accounting requirements), or for as long as you maintain an account with us.
8. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?
We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, no transmission over the internet or storage technology can be guaranteed 100% secure, so transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk.
9. Do We Collect Information From Minors?
We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18, or are the parent/guardian of a minor and consent to their use of the Services. If we learn we have collected personal information from a user under 18, we will deactivate the account and delete such data. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 18, please contact us at support@azyrum.com.
10. What Are Your Privacy Rights?
In some regions (the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and Canada), you have rights that allow you greater access to and control over your personal information, including the right to request access to, or correction, erasure or restriction of, your personal information, and to data portability where applicable. You can exercise these rights, or withdraw consent at any time, by contacting us at support@azyrum.com. If you are in the EEA or UK and believe we are unlawfully processing your information, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the link in those emails or by contacting us. You can also review, update, or delete your account information at any time by signing in to your account or contacting us directly.
11. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do-Not-Track ("DNT") signal, we treat it as a refusal of any non-essential cookies and tracking. Nothing beyond the strictly necessary storage described above will be used, and we will not show you the cookie banner, because your browser has already answered it on your behalf.
12. Do Residents of Certain US States Have Specific Privacy Rights?
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, or Virginia, you may have additional rights under applicable state law, including the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its deletion or correction, to obtain a copy of it, and to opt out of certain processing such as targeted advertising or the sale of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@azyrum.com; if we decline a request and you wish to appeal, you may also reach us at that same address.
13. Do We Make Updates to This Notice?
Yes, we will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws. The updated version will be indicated by a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this notice periodically.
